Our streets are rutted with solid ice. I can't think past the tracks.
When I get to this point -- where I have no appetite and have ceased to engage in my surroundings, I find fresh batteries for my camera, slip into sturdy hiking boots and head out to find a different view.
You are a girl after my own heart. I have bundled up and walked in storms, rain, wind and snow (when it happens), in any of natures weather that allows me to walk and take pictures.

ReplyDeletei had such a great time taking these shots and it is good to hear which struck you as well. the dried flowers against the bare trees- i must have taken 20 shots at a completely different angle before i thought to crouch down and look straight up. somewhere there is a lesson, huh?
